The real action was on President St. then, it’s on President St. now, and it will always be on President St. Bob Dylan sang about President St. Kenneth Koch wrote about President St. I actually conceived my first child in a studio off President, at the height of the Vietnam War protests. Don’t even talk to me about Bedord Ave. and North 6th. It all happens on President.
